We came to this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
The customer service was horrible. The manager himself was very disrespectful. We asked a question and he couldn’t understand us. He then yelled and said that he told us many times and got very mad. He then called someone while we were standing there. He picked up a trash bag acting like he was going to throw it at us.
Food, service, experience we're all five stars! Took a chance and went here for dinner with a moderate sized group. Had a wonderful time. The food was fresh and delicious. The prices were competitive (or better due to portion sizes). We're planning to return.
The management at this location was very rude to me while with my 12 yr old daughter. Did not understand English well and was extrememly frustrayed and shouted at us. Someone needs to teach him customer service!
Terrible foodEDIT: bought some frozen potstickers and heated them up in the microwave. More filling, better flavor (any flavor would be an improvement) and they cost half as much.
Taste is amazing. One time they forgot a white rice for my order but no one is perfect. I went back and they made it right. Thanks for the good Chinese food ChinChin!
Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and good food. Tried the sushi this time. Follow up: I wouldn't recommend the sushi.
I order delivery from this place frequently, food is very good!
I ordered delivery from here for the first time on Monday. Ordered chicken fried rice and steamed pork gyoza. The rice tasted reheated and was full of hard peas. Gyoza were not much better. Long story short 100% got food poisoning from here and spent the last 24hours sick as can be. Do not risk it.
This establishment is laughable at best. Poor food quality, pushy service and so overpriced. I love chin chin in Alpharetta, but this place is a joke. I love people and food and seldom have anything negative to say but every single thing about my experience 2 days ago left a bad taste in my mouth. 18$ for tangerine beef? I would(have) paid more if were even slightly tasty. Chewy beaten beef breaded and heavy with oil. So much sugar in the sauce, egg rolls were for sure frozen. Never again.
The cashier was very rude and aggressive when I had attempted to order my food. He argued with me about the price, which was very expensive for what I ordered. I’ve actually enjoyed the food and have always liked coming to Chin Chin, but I will not be coming to this location again.
I had heard alot of good things about this place so I decided to try it out.i must say I was amazed. The food was great. I most definitely will be back soon.
Ordered general tso chicken with fried rice and two egg rolls. The food took over an hour and when it finally got to me it was cold and tasted nothing like general tso chicken. I called the restaurant and the manager said I didnt have to come back. The chicken was dark in some places and tasted old. Egg rolls were really pork rolls. I will never purchase from this restaurant again.
The food is good but customer service is horrible. The person who answered the phone was very rude. Yelling at me, and responded very disrespectfully when I asked what the dish comes with. When I told him to just forget about the order and cancel it because I won’t order anything from a restaurant where they yell at the customer, I heard him saying the F word. I will probably never eat here or order anything again from this location.
This is the best Chinese food restaurant in the Cumberland area. I’ve tried all the other options around, and Chinese is one of my favorite types of food. Some say it’s expensive, however the quality and customer service are top notch which makes it even more worthy of being named the best! Delivery is always fast and courteous. And they never get the order wrong.
I was craving something sweet and ordered the Mango ice cream. Found a bug in it! The owners were trying to convince me this black insect with legs was something off the ice cream container and at first, just wanted to replace the ice cream instead of giving me a refund. Will NOT be eating at this establishment again.
Horrible customer service. Owner delivered the food, literally yelled at my mothers house demanding a tip. Here's a tip for you: treat people with respect and they will tip you. Also, tips are OPTIONAL and given to those who deserve it. You, Mr. Owner, did NOT deserve it. You can't walk up and say hey where's my tip before even passing on the food. Learn how to treat people. I would never order here again, food was okay the tea gross.
Food was mediocre at best. There was a communication misunderstanding which caused the server to get loud. And she constantly asked if I was okay. I understand asking but not every two bites.
Lunch is good and reasonably priced!
Exactly the fast food Asian I expected. Not amazing but satisfying. I'll definitely come back again if I need a quick solution to my craving.
My order arrived fast from UberEats and was accurate. The food quality was below average for the price. Definitely more like hole in the wall chinese food and not fine dining chinese food.
Wow. I ordered from them and specifically ordered vegetarian only items. My order arrived and the steamed vegetarian dumplings I requested in fact had pork in them. I called again to request an exchange and the chef was very abrupt and rude with me on the phone saying that I could not tell that it was tofu. I eat tofu on a daily basis and I know what tofu and pork look like. This was most certainly not tofu. I get very ill when exposed to pork. He cut me off twice and yelled at me to send a picture to his personal phone. I sent the picture and within 2 minutes, I called back and they told me that it was pork. They said that they apologized and quickly hung up. So, naturally, I called back and inquired as to why they hung up on me and the rude gentleman on the phone told me quickly that he would refund that order because they didn't have anyone to deliver. I guess we will see if that actually happens... I'm incredibly disappointed and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
Sushi off the grid good. Bagel maki and Rock and roll my favs.
The food has no taste. The person who took my order was very rude and cursed at me. The delivery driver did not want to give me my change even though it was only$4. He smiled and said this is for tip. Like basically he made the decision that he was keeping my money for his tip. First and last time ordering from this place! Please learn how to season your food. $40 gone down the drain .
The service was satisfactory for mid afternoon. The food hot and tasty but nothing special. The prices were average for the area. The store clean and welcoming.
I did not get what I ordered. I tried to call to correct and the staff was not responsive.
I've had this place twice now and both times were disappointed to say the least. The food is expensive and the portions are so small for the price. The chicken is grisly and cheap.I got delivery last time and handed the driver enough to pay for the meal. I told him to wait so I could go inside to grab more money for a tip and this grown man started pitching a fit saying I only tipped him $1. I have been a delivery driver and know this is disappointing but I told him I was getting him more and the act of complaining about a tip is just bad business and reflects poorly on the restaurant. I will not be trying this restaurant any more.
Ordering takeout online was easy. One of my eggrolls had a soggy spot (whatev - it's takeout, not table delivery), but everything was still delicious when I got home. They included plenty of sauce packets and plastic utensils with the entree. Maybe eating my own cooking influenced my rating, but I really enjoyed this meal (and had some leftovers for later). I will be a repeat customer ;-)
I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Their service is beyond horrible so I haven't even tried the food. I ordered on doordash which didnt give the option to make the fried rice spicy. I kindly called in and asked if they could make my order spicy and the guy that answered told me he was busy. I said, "okay, all I want is for the order to be updated." This is when he yelled at me screaming that he is busy and that spice will be on the side. I told him very calmly that I was going to cancel my order, to which he said he didn't care. They even had the nerve to block BF account on Doordash which I could care less because I found another restaurant around the corner with amazing service and DELICIOUS SPICY FRIED RICE. Check them out, their name is House of Chan.
Bought Beef Lo Mein And 2 Sushi Rolls. The Rolls Was So Unfresh, I Literally Smelled It Thru The Bag & Container. Never Has Happened Before With Me And Sushi. 2. You Know Those Metal Grill Pads You Use To Clean Pans, You Guessed It. There Was Pieces Of That In My Lo Mein. Almost Swallowed It. Never Going There Again.
Went here for lunch and everything was fresh and tasted great!
I eat here at least once a month. Their food is inconsistent in texture, the noodles they use in their low mein, etc. Today, the food wasn't edible, when I came to tell about my experience, the owner yelled at me, said I'm lying, told me to get out!!!!!! HE DIDNT REFUND ME, THREW MY FOOD AT ME!! I had family from out of town looking forward to a good Chinese dinner only to be UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!
I ordered on UberEats. Rude and poor customer service. I called to ask if they could bring my food for curbside pickup. The man said no and that no one else was working. I walked in and another woman was working. He had lied.
Rice was hard and not flavorful...Sad because this used to be my favorite place.
Owner is extremely rude and I believe he can't help himself but to be this way... If you buy from him be prepared to be insulted, rushed and left feeling STUPID... But the shrimp fried rice is good... But this guy is always angry!!
I just placed a $85 Chin Chin near the battery park. I received part of my order absolutely no plastic ware, no napkins, no soy sauce and I’m in a hotel. I called them to let them know I didn’t receive condiments with my order. When I called I was informed(before they hung up ) that I had to ask for ALL condiments 🤦🏾♀️. So I let them know. I would let the world know they shouldn’t buy food from them since the expect people to eat their fingers.
Made my stomach hurt, bland, greasy, and bad customer service
This place have bad customer service and old hard rice stay away if you know what's good for you there is plenty of good Chinese restaurants This is Not one.
Allan and his staff always have impeccable service. Food is good and they will make anything the way you like it.
DO NOT EAT HERE VERY RUDE PEOPLE I FEAR FOR THE HEALTH OF CUSTOMERS THE WAY THEY TREAT NEW CUSTOMER TELL WILL CLOSE SOON OTHER SUSHI PLACE NEXT TO QT MUCH BETTER AND NICER
Chin Chin is the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to. Nancy is amazing! We only come 1 or 2 times a month and she consistently remembers our drink and food orders even if we change what we get on occasion. I change between the sesame chicken and mooshoo pork (I apologize for spelling) and she always is eager to see which one I will pick. Pricing is to be expected for a nearly fine dining restaurant at +$120 for four people and drinks but is well worth it for the experience for the whole family. Thanks for all of the great experiences Nancy and crew and we will see you soon!
Rude! SNAPPY AND RUDE!! The Order takers had "Heavy' accents and not understanding he got mad, then hung up on me! I called back to back to - "Not" give into the stereotypes of RUDE asians to Black Americans ... but, then they took my credit card information and refused to deliver because they had to repeat order until I was clear... so I as the paying customer- could know what I am being charged for!
Very expensive for a marginally above average Chinese restaurant.
Great Chinese food! They deliver too which is nice. The chicken is actual real chunks of chicken and not dried out and mostly batter like a lot of other places. Everything I've had here is great and the sushi is also good for people that like sushi
This place is overpriced, and food is disgusting! I ordered 4 things on the menu, and they managed to get 2 out of 4 wrong!I mean, come on people...The sushi smelled rotten and awful as soon as we opened the box!Instead of hot and sour soup, they delivered wonton soup!It costed me $50.00And i had to argue with them for my money...Do yourself a favor, do not eat here!
Everything was great till I found a long black hair in my food...I have curly red hair 😒🤮
If I could give this place no stars that’s what I would have done, I’m from Florida and was visiting Atlanta, I spent $115 on food and everything I got delivered was not what I ordered and to top it off is was nasty. I ordered 4 orders of chicken fried rice and they sent me 4 ordered of white hard rice. Never again... I need a refund ASAP
As a real Chinese, I ca n’t help but want to comment. I ’ve eaten many improved Chinese foods in North America that have completely changed the taste, but sometimes I ca n’t find a Chinese restaurant and I ’m hungry when I ’m hungry. Still bearable. But this time, the taste of this restaurant has changed too far, and it is too unpalatable. Strange why it has so many branches.
Always tasty food.
